By placing an order with Hull Furniture—whether through our website at www.hullfurniture.co.uk, in our showroom at Skirlaugh Garden Centre, or during a home visit—you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
 

1. General Terms

  • All transactions are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Statutory rights remain unaffected.

2. Product Information

  • Products are supplied as flat packs unless stated otherwise.
  • Product details are subject to minor updates.

3. Warranty

  • 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects.
  • Excludes damages from misuse, normal wear, or environmental exposure.
  • Claims require photographic evidence and should be sent to hullfurnitureoffice@gmail.com.

4. Delivery Terms

  • Delivery operates Monday–Friday, typically within 4–10 weeks.
  • Ground floor delivery only; extra fees apply for additional services.
  • Re-delivery fees (£30) may apply if the space isn’t prepared or no one is present.

5. Delivery Charges

  • Charges are displayed online or payable in cash for in-store purchases unless pre-arranged.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Standard Products: Returns accepted within 14 days if unused and in original packaging. Buyer handles return costs.
  • Customised Products: Non-refundable unless defective. Cancellations within three days receive a full deposit refund; after three days, deposits are non-refundable.
  • Delivery Inspection: Report damages within 48 hours.

7. Custom-Made Furniture

  • 30% deposit required. Final payment due upon delivery.
  • Customers must ensure furniture fits through entryways.
  • 30% restocking fee for cancellations within seven days.

8. Assembly Services

  • Available for an additional fee. Wall hanging not included.
  • Improper self-assembly voids the warranty.

9. Fitted Furniture Policy

  • Payment: 20% deposit, 60% pre-delivery, 20% post-installation.
  • Cancellations: Full refund within 7 days; 20% fee after 7 days. No refunds post-installation.
  • Installation requires pre-prepared spaces.

10. Cancellation of Orders

  • Cancellations accepted in writing before delivery or within 14 days for standard products.
  • Custom orders cannot be cancelled after seven days unless otherwise agreed.

11. Liability

  • Hull Furniture is not responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Products are for domestic use unless otherwise certified.

12. Payment Options

13. Miscellaneous

  • Governed by the laws of England.
  • Immediate product inspection is required upon delivery.
